"Cal,
Some shots of our recent Canning Stock Route trip.
The stock route itself is 2000km in length between Wiluna and Halls Creek -
all up we did 4500km including transit to Wiluna and back down the
west coast of WA from Broome back home to Bunbury.
The stock route is not maintained at all and has severe corrugations for lengthy
stretches of up to 100km.
The jeep, a JK Wrangler Rubicon SWB, carried a heavy load with 250 litres of fuel plus water and all the
essentials for camping.
We only had 3 weeks for the entire trip so we had to keep moving in order to meet the tight timeframe.
The suspension kit I purchased from you performed flawlessly - the most
severe corrugations were tackled fairly aggressively and the shocky
temperatures were monitored, however no problems were encountered at
all.
Others however did not fare so well - we encountered a number
of vehicles that had suffered broken springs, failed shock
absorbers, failed air adjustable suspension and broken steering
components.
I was particularly impressed by the ability of the jeep
to handle the toughest going fully loaded while still maintaining
good speed and handling despite corrugations, deeply rutted
sandhills and harsh rocky sections.
Importantly after the trip the
vehicle showed no ill effects with the suspension returning
immediately to normal height once unloaded.
I have no hesitation in
recommending your suspension system to anyone that is looking to
prepare their vehicle for serious outback travel.
