Tyrone Gilks World record jump for 125cc motorcross bikes

The previous record was set at 221ft by Robbie Maddison but was smashed today by Tyrone age 16 who flew a World Record distance of 242.5ft.

The record was broken on the 30.1.2010 at Dave's private property just out of Australia's capital city, Canberra.

Tyrone currently holds:
The world record for 65 cc long distance jump at 114ft which he achieved at age 11.
Youngest backflip at 12years old on 85cc Bike.
85cc distance record that he set in 2006 at 169ft 9inch ramp to ramp at 12 years old.
178ft 5inches ramp to dirt ramp set in 2008 at age 14.

Tyrone now has his sites set on 250cc 2stroke record where he needs to jump further than 310ft 4inches.
This jump attempt will be scheduled for later this year fundraising and sponsorship is now being looked into to help fund the next World Record Attempts.
